One of the best Chinese foods spots I had in long time. I love this cuisine but it's hard to find a good quality place lately. We were in commack and my cousin recommended that we try it. I'm very happy that I did. Service was great. It was a small cozy space.

We have been to FAN Chinese Cuisine several times. One of our go to places to eat and be together when our lil one spends time with his Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
Experienced Christmas Eve dinner with Peking and crispy duck (preferred the Peking). Enjoyed the house special fried rice, snow mountain and scallion pancakes. Pork fried dumplings were delish!! Wait staff very attentive and professional.
Surprisingly tasty Chinese food. Had the egg plant with chicken and the maple tofu, tasted much more authentic than I expect for a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall

Is a small restaurant but inside is quit comfortable friendly staff guide to our seat and brings roasted peanut. The food is so delicious and didn't taste of M S G . Will recommend
I'm a super fan of FAN! Sorry, I just had to. I am pretty sure that I ordered from here during Covid and remember it being very good. Fast forward to now and my partner in crime suggested we go and try some Szechuan food. Im in! Little did we know, this unassuming restaurant would change the way we looked at Chinese food forever. Now(dammit) I'm ruined and only want to eat Chinese food from FAN. So I think I've said this before, im Jewish and for some reason, we Jews love american Chinese food so I've had it from all over. This and one other are now the only places I will order from now. Seriously, fight me on that. We have been there 2 times now. Last weekend and this weekend. Will we go next weekend? Maybe! So we had the wontons in hot oil which I am now obsessed over, soup dumplings were ok, not as memorable as the wontons in hot oil. We had egg roll and I passed on that one the second time, I've had better and I was a tiny bit disappointed that the duck sauce was not the homemade kind I've had at other places. But moving on, the eggplant with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein, mapo tofu and the cucumber salad with garlic were heavenly! We also tried another veg dish that had, eggplant, peppers and potatoes, it was as really good as well. The restaurant was clean and tables were full. There were a lot of people coming to get takeout. I liked eating there because the staff were so welcoming and very efficient. I dropped my napkin on the floor and didn't think that anyone was actually paying attention but lo and behold, I got a new one in less than 1 min! The water glasses were kept full as well. Bottom line, if you like spicy Szechuan food, eat at FAN. You will not be disappointed. See ya there!
Still my favorite Chinese eaterie on Long Island. The dry braised squid with lotus root, potato, green and red peppers is something I've never seen elsewhere and it's an absolute must try. Just today I sampled the exceptionally fresh, fragrant, vibrant and delicious Noodles In Chili Sauce Szechuan Style. So great.
